Dana Airlines Limited has its headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos, and boasts a collection of domestic routes in Nigeria. Founded in 2008 as part of the Dana Group of Companies, it has an offering of over 27 daily flights from Lagos to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo and Owerri. With the slogan “the smartest way to fly” and a reputation for being reliable, it’s one of Nigeria’s most successful, privately owned airlines

Dana Air has 5 airplanes in their fleet; 1 Boeing 737-500, 1 Boeing 737-800 and 3 McDonnell Douglas MD-83.



With a domestic route schedule, there are no long haul facilities onboard, but passengers can enjoy light meal options with music and videos for entertainment on all flights. Dana Air currently only offers its clients the Economy Class option.



When you fly with Dana Air, the maximum weight for Business Class checked baggage is 30 kgs. If you’re flying Economy Class, you can check luggage that weighs up to 23kgs. The rates for excess baggage are available upon request.

Check In

If you’re checking in at the airport, make sure you have your ID or passport with you. Check in closes 30 minutes before the flight is scheduled to leave, but it’s best to be there at least an hour before your flight.


Online Check In

Dana Air has made checking in simpler with an online option on their website. There you can choose your seat and print your boarding pass. This option is available 24 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. Passengers need to check in no less than 90 minutes before the flight is due to leave.


Manage Booking Online

Passengers flying with Dana Air are able to change travel dates, times or destinations and even cancel a flight via their website.
